We identified some significant trees on site. Some are believed to be more than 400-year-old Pecan trees. Our preservation efforts included evaluating the health and longevity of the trees and doing a bit of preliminary pruning of the canopies and root system, as well as fertilization to make sure construction efforts don't harm them. It's all in hopes the pecan trees live another hundred or more years.

We also plan to have more than 2 acres of native grasses and wildflowers instead of traditional turf grasses.
