HOA and Disclosures

On this page, you’ll find HOA disclosure documents (see resource directory below), HOA Habitat Management Plans, as well as the process for developing the plans. Every community with certified sites (e.g., Nature Play Space, Monarch Garden or Natural Open Space Habitat) will receive an HOA Habitat Management Plan. This plan is to be used by the HOA to guide maintenance practices for these sites. Below you will find the process to receive an HOA Habitat Management Plan and example plans.

Process for receiving HOA Habitat Management Plan before turnover

Step 1: Please notify NWF that you need an HOA Habitat Management Plan before turnover (through your division’s point of contact or through tmhabitats@nwf.org).

Step 2: NWF will draft a community HOA Habitat Management Plan based on the certification information uploaded toTMHabitats.net.

*For communities where the plan is created before turnover, the plan will be considered draft until turnover is completed.*

Step 3: NWF will share the draft community HOA Habitat Management Plan with the community’s Land Manager. The plan will be finalized at turnover.

Process for receiving HOA Habitat Management Plan at turnover

Step 1: The National Wildlife Federation will be notified about communities nearing turnover by Taylor Morrison’s HOAM representative (Kerry-Lynn Goto – kerry.goto@greatboards.com).

Step 2: NWF will draft a community HOA Habitat Management Plan based on the certification information uploaded to TMHabitats.net.

Step 3: NWF will share the draft community HOA Habitat Management Plan with Kerry-Lynn Goto and Chad Eby (CEby@taylormorrison.com). Land Managers will be notified and receive a final copy of the plan from Kerry-Lynn Goto.
