Nature Play Space™

The Olivewood Nature Play Space™️ offers various play combinations while being surrounded by plantings in the heart of the community. The sloped play area provides a highly challenging setting that creates physical development of the upper body, balance, and coordination through the rope climb, embankment slides, and hillside slopes. There are several levels of difficulty for each activity that create a graduated challenge and risk-taking for all ages. Some of the major play features include a climbing pyramid, birds nest (basket) swing, four person see-saw, wood stilts, snail and bee spring rockers, hill climbers ropes, embankment slides, wobble bridge, triple somersault bars, and climbing cleat holds up the hillside are made of wood and natural materials. Adjacent to the play area are two pavilions with picnic tables and shade structures for a moment to relax. Intertwined in the play area are boulders and various plantings to enhance the nature surroundings and invite all sorts of pollinators to visit the space. This space will keep all ages coming back for more fun all season long.
