Wildlife & Native Plants
See attached inventory and our landscape plans for the Hagerson Tract Project. This is the streetscape, common areas and detention basins for the project and is in addition to the butterfly garden. I have attached our plans and planting lists. Large areas of native seed, and butterfly friendly plants. In regards to the 80-20 guideline we have 18,000 square feet of shrub beds and 253 trees. More than 80% of our trees are native and about 50% of shrubs are native. Looking at total square footage of native versus non-native this project is 92% native species. In addition, we have 90,000 square feet of native wildflower and grasses seed areas. The mixes are sourced from Native American Seed and include
Riparian Recovery Mix, Lady Bird’s Legacy Wildflower Mix, Butterfly Retreat Mix and Shade-Friendly Wildflower Mix.
