Nature Play Space™

The Park East at Azario NWF Certified Nature Play Scape is an innovative outdoor space for people of all ages to engage with nature while keeping active. A 4-foot wide crushed shell path meanders through the Echo Park and is surrounded by rich plant diversity. Adjacent to this shell path is a butterfly puddling area and pollinator garden creating a living activity feature that is always growing and evolving with the life of butterflies. A log and stump balancing area provides a fun balance exercise for children and adults alike. Unique to this Echo Park, a little library and storage provides opportunities to learn through reading while enjoying a modern arbor or seating bench amongst the foliage. Another special feature of this Echo Park is a special concrete paver sensory path just outside the shell path. The shell path terminates at a wood fiber mulch activity center featuring a Pikes Peak play structure and a Rope Seat basket swing. Park East at Azario Echo Park offers something new to explore with every visit providing families with year-round opportunities to engage with nature and with each other.
